Hi,
To solve your problem, remove GDK_GC_FONT mask before calling
gdk_gc_new_with_values().
Just filled
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134202
PS: please tell about version of GTK and distro you're using - for
example RedHat 7.3 have gtk+-1.2.10 and gtk+-2.0.2.
Olexiy,
thank you very much for identifying the problem. I'm using the CD version
of the RedHat 9 distribution. Here's what rpm tells me is installed that
contains the name gtk (most of which I suspect to be irrelevant to the
issue here):
usermode-gtk-1.67-2
gtkhtml-1.1.8-5
gtk2-engines-2.2.0-2
gtk+-1.2.10-25
gtkhtml2-2.2.0-5
pygtk2-1.99.14-4
pygtk2-libglade-1.99.14-4
gtk-engines-0.11-16
mtr-gtk-0.52-2
gtk+-devel-1.2.10-25
gtkhtml-devel-1.1.8-5
gtk2-devel-2.2.1-4
pygtk2-devel-1.99.14-4
gtk2-2.2.1-4
gnome-python2-gtkhtml2-1.99.14-5
authconfig-gtk-4.3.4-1
gtkam-0.1.7-3
gtk-doc-0.10-4

Bryan
