Disabling use of Ctrl+Arrows with scrolledWindow widget

Hi,

I have a DrawingArea inside a ScrolledWindow (with viewport).  

I would like to trap the Ctrl+Arrow keys, but the ScrolledWindow (or 
viewport?) gets to them for scrolling the control.  Is there any way to 
disable these keys for this control so they can be trapped normally in my 
application?

(I'm using GTK#, but C code will help me just as good).
