Umm, does it really surprise you that you have problems with a kind of
application with GTK+ on Win32 that nobody else has tried yet?

Stuff like that should be done piecemeal, adding complexity in small
steps. Just throwing a very complex application at GTK+ on Win32 and
expecting it to work is rather optimistic...
