markup and &

hi!

I use 'markup' instead of 'text' to render text in gtktreeview. the
problem is when the text has & sign. my program shows warnings or even
segfaults. I'm looking for a good and quick solution instead of writing a
function that replaces & with & in a string. does it undestrands
urlencoding?
can You help me?
