well i dont think thir is proble with the version of
linux iam using. well iam using Redhat linux 7.2.
i untar the libxml2.2.5.11  which got installed in the
system sucessfully.i build one sample example also,but
when i ran autogen.sh it gave lot of problems ...

You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which
you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.
