Hii,
 Thanks, I got the solution. The problem is I compiled it with
 gtk+-2.0, I didn't use gtk+-linux-fb-2.0  :)
 
 I can run the applications only as a root. I coudlnt run it as
 a user. why it is like that ?

Hi jonk,
 I had run that simple application (created with GTK widget) with the
 normal GTK. It displayed a text box and a button. Its GTK appln only.
 If I compile it again in GTK-FB, it says that error.

 What could be the problem ?
