The function was replaced by a style property. What that means is that
space-size is now set by the theme, you can't set it from an
application.

(You can do a hack with gtk_rc_parse_string() but this is broken for
normal desktop apps, only a reasonable thing to do if you app is an
in-house app with hardcoded theme.)
