looking for bezier drawing function

Hi!

I am just looking for a function that draws a bezier curve. Maybe this 
request is a FAQ item... but I did not find it.
In terms of pdf drawing operations and gimp tools bezier curves are 
"primitives", so I expected them in gdkdrawingarea.h, but there are only 
arcs.

Any suggestions?
