Custom GtkFileSelection

Hi

I want to create my own GtkFileSelection. I don't how (exactly).

First at all I want a gtkfixed selection not a gtkwindow.

In order to achieve this, I downloaded the source code (file .h and .c) of the GtkFileSelection.

I change every window word for fixed.  I change the names of some functions.  But the widget is a window 
still.

How I can make the change from window to fixed?
