GtkTextIter and GtkTextBuffer question

Hi

I want to get the current cursor position of GtkTextBuffer in integer value.

I check the functions of gtk 2.0 and only I can get the position in GtkTextIter variable.

Is there any function to translate GtkTextIter to an integer?
