Hi Neil,

pkg-config --cflags --libs gtk+-2.0

will give you the libs and include dirs. if you are using gtk-2.0

gtk-config --cflags --libs
for gtk 1.2

Is this project done in glade? You should check if the development
packages for gtk are installed on your system. Search for glade2 if
you're using gtk2 and want an interface builder.
