Gtk+ Tutorial..........

Hi,
  I am new to GTK. I downloaded GTK+ 2.0 tutorial from 
www.gtk.org. The tutorial contains some undocumented topics(like 
drawing area, curves etc.,). Where can i get full document for 
Gtk?

  In my application, I want to draw some rectangles, one above 
another, and provide editing facilities like  move, resize a 
selected rectagle, zooming the window etc.

  Is GTK+ supports all the above operations? Where can find 
documents for scalling/zooming gtk window?
