I'm able to reproduce the problem. Very strange. I notice that you have your own fribidi code in there. How come? Mostly asking out of curiosity.
Yes that's true. It's only one function to get the base line direction, I couldn't use fribidi shared object for it as it's declared static

Anyone have an idea where to search for the reason causing this ?Thanks for your interest. It's all available from arabeyes.org CVS cvs.arabeyes.org "anonymous CVS instructions" http://cvs.arabeyes.org/cvsweb/projects/katoob/ I kept investigating and i think that the problem is with the encodings menu implementation, however i can't find the problem. -- ---------------- -- Katoob Main Developer Linux registered user # 224950 ICQ # 58475622 FIRST make it run, THEN make it run fast "Brian Kernighan".
