delete a row in a tree

Hello all,
I'm new in programming GTK 2. I'm writing an application that use a
gtk tree with 4 columns. With a button I must delete a row (i.e. delete
4 rows of 4 columns...), but I don't understand how I can. I can't find
this information in the API...
