mprof works well, but make sure you are using the most recent version
(0.5.1). Older versions will show fake memory leaks in GTK+2.

Subject: GTkTreeView/ListStore Memory leaks.
Folks,
I have a GtkListStore with reoderable columns. When re-ordering the
columns
on Linux and Windows, momory usage just keeps getting bigger and bigger. ( I
was using top on linux and Windows Taks mamanger to observe the changes.)
Versions:
Linux = gtk+-2.0.6
Win = libgtk-win32-2.0.0-dll (20020921.zip bin downloadsed from Tor's
site.)
Can anyone recomend a memory leak tracker that can be used. (Anyone that
does
not reqruire code changes.)
Anything I can do to help track this ?
Thanks in advance.
Harring.
