pango request

Request to developers: In a future release of pango, could we please
have a field in the relevant font info structure(s) to indicate
whether a font is monospaced or proportional?  It would also be nice
to have an indication of whether a font is a text font or something
else (math symbols, dingbats, whatever).

This info is necessary in order to implement useful filters on the gtk
font selection dialog, which are currently missing.
