GTK2: GTKWindow events

Hi,

 In my app, I need to be notified when the user activates or deactivates
a window. I am using the "focus-in-event" and "focus-out-event" to do this,
but the problem is that I get notified even when I drag the window around
(I have a focus-out and the a focus-in) or iconify it.

Is there any other event I could use to avoid this problem?
