gtk_font_selection_dialog_set_filter gone?

I've used gtk_font_selection_dialog_set_filter() to restruct users'
choice to a monospaced font in certain contexts.  This function seems
to have disappeared in gtk-2.0 (though it's still discussed in the
docs, in gtkfontselectiondialog.html), with no replacement in sight.
Wassup?
