draw on widget in user thread make app deadlock?

Dear sirs:
     I create a new thread in my application, and in the thread draw some text/image on Layout to make 
text/image blink.   When I draw it in main event loop. it works ok,  but after I create the thread to draw 
BLINK, it deadlock after blink some times. How can I avoid this problem?
