Application without gnome-session and without sawfish

Hi.

I have a "little" problem.

I modify the file /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc. This file contains the following :

exec /kernel/ejectuable

Where "ejecutable" is my application. So every time that I startup the linux SO (redhat 7.3), it launchs my 
application.

As can you see, I don't start a gnome-session neither a window manager.
My application launchs my own version of "Galeon" with additional parameters using fork. My problem is: 
galeon application didn't load the specified url. But running my application in other environment, it works 
perfectly.

Please help me. Anybody has any idea about this?
