How to display animated GIF using gdk-pixbuf-animation..()?

I am using gdk-1.3, gtk-1.3, gdk-pixbuf-0.8.0 in the Win32 environment,
and currently don't want to upgrade to the higher versions due to some
reasons.
My Question is, how do I smoothly display the animated GIF using the
gdk-pixbuf-animation routines?
Some examples will help. Thanks a lot!
