can't set label

Hello,

I would like to do the following: I got an application with a handlebox
in it. If the handlebox is detached the main window can be hidden
(gtk_widget_hide on this widget). The handlebox is still visible but I
can't set labels (gtk_label_set_text) contained in the handlebox
anymore. Any help appreciated :)
