to decode url string?

(I'm in gnome2)

if dnd with nautilus I get url-encoded filename.
multichar broken into %nn%nn.

gnome_vfs_uri_to_string() used to get the string.
so I expected gnome-vfs-2.0 provide decode api, but seems not.

is there a function to decode url string?
