How can I unsubscribe?

I don't know my password anymore, and it won't let me off the list.

Yeah, I feel like one of those idiots who shouts to the list "Plz
unsubscribe me!", but I've never seen a password protected mailing list
before, and there doesn't seem to be a command to retrieve it.
