selecting a row of a GtkCList with the enter key of the keyboard

Hello, 

I develop an application where the mouse won't be used. All the interactions
with the XWindow will be done with the keyboard. 
When I create a GtkCList in a window, I can't select the row where the focus
is when I press the enter key of the keyboard. Can someone explain me why ??
or give me a way to do it.
