Regarding GtkCTree,
is it possible to connect directly
parent nodes to child with lines? this is the norm
with GtkTree, but with GtkCTree the lines are disconnected.
You can see what I mean in this picture showing
a GtkTree (on the left) and a GtkCTree (on the right):

I think the style on the left (GtkTree)
is slightly easier to understand...
