gtk_subtree

I make several subtrees in a main tree and i attach several items in a
subtree. After this, i remove all items in the subtree and the [+]
simbol in the subtree desappear. When i attach other item in the same
subtree i can not see it and i can not click [+] simbol because it
doesn´t exist.

¿what does it happend?
