hi everyone,
can anyone tell me how to change the priority of the gtk thread.

i am having a multithreaded application with a complex widget structure.
when i minimize the application the some of the button widgets 
dissapear.
i think the problem is because since many threads are running gtk
is not getting the time to refresh all the buttons.

can anyone please tell me how to change the priority of the gtk
thread so that the window manager runs with a high priority.
