Creating a GtkEntry with right adjusted text

Hello all,
This is my problem: I wan't to have an editiable 
text-row, just like a GtkEntry, to get numbers from 
the user. Just like the input region in a calculater.
GtkEntry is almost what I need, but it adjusts the
text
to the left. I have tried setting the writing position
with gtk_editable_set_position. This was done after
the entry had been created, but nothing happened.
