clickable text

dear all,

is there a way to make lines of text in a textbox "clickable"?  i have some
information that i'd like to organize similarly to a www document, where
clicking on a line of text produces either a new text widget or a popup box.

i can't find a reference to "clickable text"; is there such a thing?  if not,
how could i implement such a thing?
