Gtk Frame Buffer

        What are the requirements in order to get a GTK-based
        application working with the frame buffer?
        (i.e. without having X initialized)

        I've visited http://people.redhat.com/sopwith/gtkfb/
        and it has some really amazing screenshots but it
        doesn't say anything about how to compile the code
        (and/or the kernel), neither the email-address of
        the author.
