Re: lexical scanner

mainly because i want boneheads to just type "make" without having to figure
out how to get and install an rpm or tar.gz. i plan on releasing this
cryptogram software to freshmeat sooner or later.

anyone using debs will prolly already know how to do this. ;)

anyway, that's my reason. otherwise, i'd use libpre3. i've relegated myself
to either glib (since everyone will have glib) or libregex (on all unices).

i'm not sure if everyone has bison/flex or yacc/lex. i'd have to learn them
anyway.

is glib's lexical analyzer is something similar in functionality to

does anyone have short & sweet example programs of glib's lexical analyzer?
the API reference for this particular glib feature is tough to learn from.

Is there really a reason not to use PCCTS?
