Hi!

When i run gdb (and only when i run gdb), i get stuck in an infinite loop
of prints of the message in the Subject.  It happens during startup,
predictably at the same line.  i suspect some kind of memory corruption ...
i'm using gtk 1.3.6 and running debian + linux 2.4.7.  Is it time for me
to buy a copy of Purify?  How can i debug this?
