More questions. Here's the situation: I'm writing a charting
application. The basic display is a GnomeCanvas inside a scrolled
window, which is placed in a notebook, which is placed in the top
level window.
I don't know the answer to all your questions, but a couple
suggestions:
- gnome-devel-list is probably more helpful than gnome-list for
devel questions.
- Guppi at http://www.gnome.org/guppi/ is a charting app that
heavily uses the canvas, and no doubt has solved many of the
same problems.
