graceful handling of out of memory condition

Hi,

glib/gtk terminate the application if it's out of memory.
I'd like to handle this condition in a more graceful manner
if possible. Is there a way within gtk or glib to trap this
event?

(Yeah, I'm aware that this is a hard problem, etc...)

Thanks.
