Hi,

I understand what you are saying, but I can't see neither the application menu, nor the menu buttom with 
gthumb icon.

I'm using Gthumb 3.3.3, Debian 8 and XFCE

I'm using Gthumb for years, in Ubuntu, but I've switched to Debian.
