[gthumb-list] gThumb doesn't render raw previews

Hi,

I compiled gThumb 3.5.2 on elementary OS 0.4.1 Loki based on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS (Linux 4.4.0-92-generic, GTK+ 3.18.9). I used the following configuration:

My problem is that gThumb doesn't render previews of my *.rw2 (x-panasonic-raw2) or *.dng raws in the photo browser. It just shows a generic picture icon.

Basically gThumb seems to be able to handle raws (so, no compiling problem) since it displays a raw photo if I view it in the full screen/edit mode. Is there some sort of memory limitation or a setting I didn't find?
