Re: [gthumb-list] feature req: save selection as gif or APNG animation

Also, the editor window is rather interestingly transparent for me, but may be artifact of my strange setup (ubuntu 14.10 + cinnamon, gthumb 3.3.2), and it doesn't bother me too much. http://i.imgur.com/QnNTKtX.png

i would also agree with
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726175,
I would like option to disable single-click open behavior, I find myself making a detailed selection of images, if I forget to hold down "ctrl" at any point and click an image, my entire selection is lost :( really annoying

Thanks,

Hello,
I use gThumb for, among other things, technical documentation -- taking a lot of screenshots, then making a collection by "page" instead of all of them chronologically. Example: http://i.imgur.com/wGBxHGN.png

I then would like to make a timelapse gif or webm animation of them. Example: http://gfycat.com/PettyLoneHart

1) feature request: save as gif

2) perhaps, "save to local folder" be added to the "export" options (flickr, picasa, etc)?
I just realized you can selectall-drag-drop into nautilus to save a selection of images to a local folder, but this was not obvious

(if #1 is implemented, #2 is not a big deal, since worst-case I import the gif into GIMP which is what I actually want to do, there I can edit time between frames, fix colorspace, scale, etc.)

3) Is there more documentation on writing an extension somewhere? In case I suddenly find a glut of spare time.
