Just upgraded to Fedora 21 beta. Yes, beta, I know.
gthumb is taking ages longer than it did on Fedora 20 to load images.
Any idea why?
Using an SSD with a Haswell i7 processor, a 5 meg image takes between 1
and 2 seconds to load. Previously the delay was not something I noticed.
The image shows up blurred then the definition comes in, like in the old
days.
Is there a secret gconf key to switch renderer, or get precaching
enabled, or anything actually because at this speed I will never be able
to sort through my photos :)
It's a known problem, the 3.3.2 version is not considered stable and
shouldn't be included in any stable distribution as all the 3.3.x
series, which is just a preview of the next stable version.

Thanks Paolo, they are going to downgrade it before final.
