[gthumb-list] Thumbnail display

Not sure what is occurring but my version of gthumb is now notdisplaying thumbnails correctly ,,, all I get are black placeholders.Tried a reinstall without solving the problem ... is there somethingthat I may have inadvertantly changed in the prefs.?
