Hello,
if I ssh to a remote computer (via 100MBit LAN!)
and start version 2.13.2 , gthumb behaves very very slow.
If I open a image infullscreen mode, it takes seconds to
jump between images.
Version 2.12.3 is much much faster.
Anyone here on the list who can confirm this?
Still no one here who can reproduce this?
Can anyone confirm this or is it just my setup?
this could happen because the proloader is disabled on remote
directories, in order to save bandwidth.
Is it possible to enable it again?
There are no problems in 2.12.3
With 2.13.x it is a horror (nearly impossible) to work
from remote (even on a GBit-LAN).
version 2.14.0 will be similar to version 2.12.0 in the way it loads
remote images and this should fix this problem, however I'm not sure of
this because I cannot reproduce the slowness you are experiencing.
