[gthumb-list] Image import with 2.12

I've not been able to import from my Canon G540 with any version of 
2.12. If I downgrade to 2.10.12 that still works fine. In 2.12 the 
Import dialog is greyed out except for the Cancel and Help buttons.

I have the Import extension (well, all of them except the Flikr, and 
similar) extensions enabled. I can import photos from the command line OK.

What does 2.12 need that's different from 2.10? I'm running XFCE4 4.8 on 
Arch-Linux. Had the same on 4.6.
