[gthumb-list] fix properties view

Hi all,

If you open an image and click the toolbar "Properties" button, the 
metadata and comments are shown at the bottom, and the photo shrinks.

It would look much nicer and fit better if the metadata and comments 
were on the left, vertically arranged.

I have a skeleton patch attached which fixes the layout arrangement, 
except that for the life of me I can't figure out the correct way to 
size the pane positions correctly.

Would someone take a look at the patch and run with it?
