Ok, didn't see that one of the reasons for the wrappers is because
GDateTime is not well supported in the bindings.

Even in this case, keeping the wrappers, I would add also those
functions in grl-util, because I see them quite useful.

And regarding this binding problem, anyone knows if this will be fixed
in the future?

I feel that all functions in Grilo that are there to fix some binding
problem should be in a specific file. And going removing the functions
as soon as the problem is fixed in the introspection/bindings.
