Just to continue with this topic, and chaining with the rest of the
emails sent in that thread, actually we need to have two things:

1) A way of knowing which keys are supported by source, if it can sort
ascending or descending, and if it supports sorting by different keys.

2) In case plugin supports everything in (1), then we need a way to
specify the sort by different keys, maybe each of them ascending or
descending.


Right now Guillaume is evaluating it, so I think he will send a proposal
soon.
