Goocancas is already usable under Gtk3, I don't understand your reply ...

Here an application that I develop under Gtk 3, you can see Goocanvas items :)

PlanLibre is a project/planning application. Goocanvas is used for Timeline in this screenshot.

The whole UI is developped with Gtk3 (under C language).

And I use goocanvas libs from Ubuntu 14.04 repos.
