Can't delete multiple rows

Hello all,

I tried to find a solution to this multiple places and can't seem to get even a hint of why it's happening.

I want to delete multiple rows using Gnumeric. When I select them and right-click, the option is greyed-out. I have posted a question with screenshots here: http://superuser.com/questions/1008188/how-to-delete-multiple-rows-in-gnumeric
