MSexcel has it (through a system wide switch) and so does libre office

the pdf viewer of ubuntu offers it as well (photos become "negatives"
though)...

one could just use the "photo negative" approach and reverse
everything.  it must be trivial.

those like me who want it just want to avoid the glare, not beauty...

it's very useful if you work in dark rooms and is easier on the eyes
since it keeps the iris sphincter muscle more relaxed (which contracts
to narrow the pupil in brighter lighting).
