I can use wildcards in some functions but not in vlookup for example.

=countif(Sheet1!B1:C8,"*"&E1&"*") works

=vlookup("*"&E1&"*",Sheet1!C1:D8,2,FALSE,FALSE) doesn't

Tell me if it is a bug or its me
