Why not ? Select all cells and tehn in the toolbar click on the
bordermenu (small triangle) and select the second or third item in teh
second row.

I take it you mean "first row". THis happens since there is no content
in the remaining rows only formatting. To include the formatting either
set a print area using the file->printarea menu (if you have a recent
version) or check the "Styles with no content" checkbox on the "Sheet"
tab of the page-setup dialog.
